Study visit to Bad Schlema

On 4 and 5 September 2019, under the Interreg MineLife project, a study visit to the Wismut - Altstandorte reclaimed facilities in Bad Schlema (Germany) was made. The purpose of the meeting was to present a model procedure in case of mining damage without a legal successor and to remove the damage. On the first day, the representatives of the State Mining Authority, District Mining Office in Wroclaw, Saxon Mining Office in Freiberg, Marshal's Office in Wroclaw, the scientific community of the Wroclaw University of Technology and entrepreneurs participated in a series of lectures on the procedures concerning mining damage without a legal successor in Saxony, reclamation of the Wismut-Altastandorte area and the administrative agreement of Wismut GmbH.

The MineLife Project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the INTERREG Poland - Saxony Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.
